WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT FROM A SESSION
During a session in connected breathing that lasts about an hour, we bring your breath back to its more natural state, in connection. Breathe without pauses between inhaling and exhalation. The focus is on inhaling through the mouth, we breathe full and deep into our lower abdomen. The exhalation also goes through the mouth and is letting go of the inhalation and that what no longer serves you. A session consists an active part in which we perform the full deep connected abdominal breathing, this part takes about 30-45 minutes, then there is a relaxation / rest period of about 15-30 minutes. The total session lasts 1.5 to 2 hours because there is always an intake before the session and there is room for an after talk.

THAT ALL SOUNDS GREAT BUT HOW CAN A BREATHING SESSION BRING SO MANY HEALT BENIFITS WHILE WE ALWAYS BREATHE?
We usually breathe limited, meaning that we only use part of our lung capacity. We also breathe too fast and quite high in our chest. This is a shame when you consider that your breathing has a direct connection with your state of mind. The calmer, fuller and deeper you breathe, the more relaxed you feel.Oxygen is the fuel for your entire body and all your organs, it requires no explanation that extra oxygen brings the necessary health benefits for your body. In addition, we lose around 70% of our waste through our breath, 20% through sweat, 7% through urine and 3% through stools, all the more reasons to breathe properly.
WHAT IS HAPPENING DURING THE SESSION
During a session you make contact in the moment with the deep intelligence of your body and with what lives in you. Every breathing session is therefore unique and works on different layers, you can experience the effects of a breathing session on different layers.
First of all, connected breathing lets you experience how much extra space you can occupy in your body. Because you increase your oxygen content you can literally feel the energy flowing through your body, you can experience this from the tip of your toes to your crown. You can come across your existing physical discomforts that require attention, when you can breathe through them you will naturally experience extra vitality. Other physical benefits of a breathing session include improved oxygen uptake, metabolism and blood flow.
By giving more and more depth to the connection in your breathing during the breathing session, there is room to get rid of what is stuck mentally. For example, hindering beliefs and feelings that are trapped can come loose and / or integrate. Naturally, more and more peace and space arise in your mental state. Healing in the mental area, among other things, increases confidence in one’s own capacity, a more positive attitude to life and also decreases feelings such as stress and tension.
During a session you can completely surrender to your breath, this allows you to reach your core, the deepest emotional layer, through the wisdom stored in your body. When you can breathe through these emotions you transform to the deepest level. Healing on an emotional level leads to an increased presence in the here and now, a reduction of mental resistance and the release of ballast.
At this level you come into contact with your true core. You restore the connection with who you really are, your higher consciousness, light. A deep meditative state in which inspirations and insights can reveal themselves to you.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST
My experience is that when I talk about breathing, the comparison is quickly made with yoga or meditation. Both also very nice tools to work on your awareness, yet essentially different. When you undergo a session in connected breathing you experience an inner journey, the intelligence in your body more or less takes over. A common response from people who had there first session therefore is: “Wowwww, I never thought that something like this would be possible with just my breath!”
